I noticed that the dark elves have had there cold ones redone recently. Has there been any talk or rumors that LM will get there cold ones updated soon? Or will that not be for a while?

I'll second this request. I'm not wanting to buy a box of DE's for my next COC unit but those new models are great.

I may be in the minority, but I actually like the current cold ones. Not that the DE aren't sweet, but LM seem to have a "chunky" dino look, while the DE benefit more from the sleek reptilians.

Also could use some better rules for our Cold Ones, but I digress.

I like the DE CO's but they don't have the same feel as the LM ones, but I prefer the original CO's, not the new ones in the box of 8, I think they look too primitive, not badass predator.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I love the Lizardmen Cold Ones. They're big and beefy, not li'l wispy things like the DE ones. I think they fit in better with the Saurus riders than the DE ones ever could.
And to answer your question, it'll be quite some time until we see new Cold Ones for the Lizardmen, as the ones we have now aren't exactly ancient. IIRC they were updated in '07.

Those DE CO's are not really looking like they suffer from stupidity..also they look way too fragile to be STR4. The previous CO's did look a little slow and stupid. I loved those. Still thinking about trying to get a box of those sweet CO's.. The current ones are 'Ok' they look stupid thats for sure..but i just don't like the model.

I'm in the same boat with WheelR. The current COC models don't look bad, per say. But they do look big and slow. The DE ones look more like mv7 cavalry with their sleeker design. I like both models, but will probably go after the DE ones for a little variety.

Well GW seems to have a habit lately of releasing a second or sometimes even third wave of models after the initial army book release so we could be in luck, there isn't really a whole lot else that needs new stuff. I wouldn't expect anything within the next year or so though, they seem to have a fairly tight release schedule for a while. If we were going to see cold ones like the DE ones they would have come out with the book, since the models are already basically there minus a few small modifications.
