A couple of pictures of my new lizardmen army.






i would really like to hear feedback on what you think of the paint scheme.

I think the paint scheme is pretty cool, the colours work well together and your techniques are good. Nice work. The blue tongue is a good touch, adds a variation from the darker colours of the skin.

I like the blue too. The overall effect is great. Will you be using a highlight on the scales?

i will not be highlighting the scales on the basic infantry, the heroes and stegies however will be fully highlighted and blended. I am hopping to have my first Skink Priest done by the end of the week.

Great idea in not worrying too much about your regular troopers. I find that if I spend a lot of time on them I forget about the bigger guys; which just leads to me not finishing the project.

I really like this color scheme. Simple yet beautiful. Also, I would like to tell you that i actually laughed at the blue tongue, not because it's funny but because I liked it a lot. for the blue tongue. I like the fact that you are not highlighting the scales to keep to it's simplicity, nice subtle highlighting for the skin which brought out a stronger contrast with the skin and the scales. All in all it work well. Would you care to do a little step by step, with or without pictures, I would really like to test it out on some of my lizzies?
