Hello everyone, I'm 19 and from Nova Scotia. Building and painting models isn't really a new concept to me, my twin brother and I used to have about 10,000 points of painted Space Marines.

Here are a couple of my favourites:
Grey knight squad I painted up because they're just cool :P

Dreadnought that was accidentally sent to me along with another model I ordered from Forge World!

And with this Space Marine Vindicare Assassin (yeeah I know it's not normal but ehh looks cool) I won a monthly painting contest at my local GW.

I also did a tutorial on how to paint lava bases: http://vosrik.deviantart.com/art/Lava-Base-Tutorial-258674364

Alright so long story short my brother and I moved out, and because at the time we had lost interest in painting we gave our models to our dad (who also plays smurfs). Now that it's been almost a year, we really missed the hobby! So we went out and decided to get started in Fantasy for a change, and we've always loved Lizardmen so here I am now. :) I already have a painting thread up, but it's going a little slow since I'm putting quite a bit of detail into each model. Actually I was incredibly inspired by neveroddoreven to start the painting again, his models are absolutely gorgeous. I'll also be playing around with water effects for the first time, hope it turns out alright!

Welcome to the forum! You have some great looking models and I look forward to seeing your Lizardmen!

People who do tutorials are always extra welcome in my books! Good to have you on board, Vosrik!

Welcome to the forums! We accept value all levels of painting, but I am pleased to welcome someone of your prodigious skill. Also, +1 to what Caprasauridae said.
