    1) Slaan is no longer required to join, or stay with temple guard. Shadow lore attribute will let you get out of Dodge.
    2) Skink Chiefs lost the ability to join units of flyers. Tictacto, with how the rules are written, cannot actually join terradons.
    3) Tetto'Eko is a hero choice, who buffs every magic phase (D6 roll, on a 1, re-roll 6's to cast, on a 2+ re-roll 1's). He also gives D3 units vanguard. He camps out in the 2nd rank of skink blocks, just like the baby slaan he is.
    4) Engine of the Gods: Yeah, it still lowers casting value of 1 lore of your choice (regardless of how many engines you have). The Bubble ward went from 4+ vs shooting from beyond 12" to a flat 6+ ward vs everything. The area hits effect is now a bound spell, you get saves, but the range is 4D6 instead of 2D6. So what makes this guy worthwhile? You don't choose one each turn, he does ALL of them. You get the ward, AND the lore reduction, AND the bound spell. And he's a rare choice, and can get the Multiple wounds D3 rule on impact hits.
    5) Bastiladons tail attack is 1 attack at S10. IF the opponent is to the rear, you get +1 to hit, but you always get the 1 S10 attack. At 150 points, he's cheap, but with base strength 4, and no stubborn, you'll be breaking if not supported.
    6) Ripperdactyles do indeed get 3 + D3 attacks each against any unit marked by bloat toad; and you get 1 toad per unit. Ripper spam would result in 3 marked units.
    7) Skrox units. Krox must go in 2nd rank... unless they don't fit, then they go to the 3rd rank. This would me, if you wanted a stupidly large unit, you could run 12 wide skinks, with 2 ranks of krox (12 total), followed by 7 more ranks of skinks. ~1080 points of a super core block. It's 24 to 36 S7 attacks.
    8) Predatory Fighter: Saurus, Saurus Characters, TEMPLE GUARD, Saurus Cav, and Krox all get it. Temple Guard/Krox getting it is a pretty big deal.
    9) Skaven Pelt Banner (BSB only), gives Frenzy to everyone, and hate (skaven). A Temple Guard Death Star could be dishing out 50 attacks at S5 Armor Piercing, and gaining addition attacks on a 6 (or 5 when the buff).
    10) Razordon has an 18" range, with quick to fire. Can effectively move 6" and fire at 18" for some decent shooting. MOST important. No unit size max. Unit is also monstrous beast, so they get a stomp. Unit of 6 would get 12 S5 attacks and 24 S3 attacks; all at init 4, and average 30 S4 shots. It makes it a nice multi-task unit. Salamanders don't perform well in ranks, due to risking toasting the front rank on a short shot.

Something else interesting about Skrox is that the Krox count as two ranks when determining frontage and/or ranks. So a unit of 24 Skinks and 3 Krox at six wide is six ranks. The actual text is in the skink entry.

Before anyone trys to get too crazy with a horded Skrox unit, I don' think it will work the way you want it to work. Since the Krox count as ranks 2 and 3 in the unit, that second rank of Krox would be ranks 4 and 5 which means that unless they have spears, they won't be getting any attacks in.

Can SChiefs still take a Terradon mount?

For that matter... CAN SCHIEFS RIDE COLD ONES!? No horned ones will make me barf, hard.

Skink Chiefs can't ride Cold Ones and there are no Horned Ones either. Sorry.

Welp, looks like it's time to commit seppuku ;_; Thanks for the reply, I'll just have to counts-as a Saurus Scar-Vet.
