    Hmm well at this point everyone has gotten used to the new book so it isn't really 'new' anymore, you are best off just getting the book and looking at it yourself.

    A few big ones off the top of my head;

    -Slann no longer have generations, but do have a choice of abilities that can make them either insane or relatively cheap.
    -No more blessed spawnings, but saurus get the extra armour for free now and arer great for their points
    -The carnosaur is really good now (d3 wounds to everything not just large targets, no longer a large target itself and doesn't take a hero slot)
    -Stegadons are a lot more versatile being a special or rare slot depending on the type, plus can be a mount for chiefs or priests which doesn't take a second slot

    Overall the new book is pretty cool.

    BIG!

    Drop of predatory fighters=Spears practically MANDATORY ;)

    Thanks for the update : ) lol ya i agree its not realy new but i will have to purchase it as soon as possible, Whoo that'll take some getting used to i guess, i loved blessed spawnings. But the rest sounds interesting enough, and my saurus have been equipped with spears since day 1, which i'm pretty happy with. Quick question: do the saurus warriors still have the single-attack rule while in formation with spears? or do they have the double attacks now? Oh and are Scar-Veterans not counted as being a general choice anymore? Because i've used them in many a good fight lol ;)

    I love my scar vets. The two builds that I use are really common but so effective.

    Scar vet on cold one, light armour, Burning Blade of Chotec, Enchanted shield (used as BSB in smaller games)
    So hard to kill with T5 and 0+ save! Also S5 with an overall -4 modifier to enemy armour.

    Scar vet, light armour, shield, great weapon, charm of the jaguar warrior
    Used in bigger games he can either burn 2DD of the enemy or likely take out a chariot/small unit/war machine, a really good point someone pointed out to me. S7 with a 20" charge potential is nice like that. The shield is optional, but gives him the potential of a 2+ save in CC and generally helps protect from shooting. If only the jaguar charm and firefly venom weren't the same item type!

    Yep, predatory fighter rule removed so saurus 5 across will get a staggering 20 s4 attacks. And as I mentioned, they get the upgraded spawning for armour free now. They are absolutely nuts.

    Scar-vets can still be the general, just since Slann are so awesome (potential to be better than before) and there are a few very expensive but absolutely awesome weapons so Old Ones are very tempted (doubly so with the carnosaur) it is rare to see a mere scar-vet as the general. The Slann can now be the general, BSB, have a magic banner AND magic items, PLUS his own unique upgrades. Very expensive but basically your whole contingent of characters all on his own.
