With the numbers you plan on bringing, I strongly advice you play with Lore of Life. Small units struggle in the new edition and you will need to bring them back up if you want to survive shooty/strong magic lists. Here are some tips: - I'd bring the Saurus unit to at least 20. Some will say drop the champion to maximize point effectiveness, I like having champions to issue challenges. - 10 Temple Guards is a really small unit for a Slann. There's a post in the LM discussion forum about TG numbers. I'm a big fan of 20, because you can lose a lot and still slowly bring them back up. Also, it makes a nice looking symmetric unit and we all know how the gods of dice tends to favor theseĀ . - What point value do you intend to play at??? If you are thinking 2000/2250/2500, add some chameleons skinks, some salamanders and either another saurus unit or a unit of skinks with kroxigors, either 16/2 or 22/2.
I plan to probably play 2000 pts or 2500pts i do have a razadon but i want to get some sallies for sure. Also i plan to increase my temple guard to 20 or 25 as soon as i get the battalion
