    Hi there!

I've got couple questions about our new Slaan.

    1. Against which items / special rules / spells being not on foot protects? I saw that somewhere Pit of Shades was mentioned, but spell wording has nothing about being on foot. Even stomp / thunderstomp rule mention only that stomped model must be in base contact.

    2. Slaan doesnt have 'Large target' special rule and floating above temple guards in magic phase rule from 7th ed. is missing. Does it mens that we are allowed only to use LoS of TG in first rank?

TG always pass their 'look at sir' rolls now so the LoS rule doesn't really matter too now much I suspect. I could be wrong though as I'm new to LM

    1. It prevents us from taking the aribyan carpet item and casting the transformation of kadon from the lore of beasts as was faqed for 7ed edition.

    2. I presume LoS is worked out with temple guard in first rank as it go's with shooing from the second rank.

    Thank for yours comments!

LoS in my question was Line of Sight not Look out Sir, sorry for poor wording ;/

So basically being not on foot is close to useless.

According to my second question I believe that "real line of sight" rule allows us to cast above TG / other smaller units.

Yes, the Slann is naturally higher than the TG anyway, so with real line of sight in play the rule is somewhat moot?

It limits your options by three, so it's a negative but it's not a massive one: it makes sense considering the Slann is stuck on his floating chair, and a flying Slann does seem to have the potential to be a little OP!

doesn't it also make your slaan immune to the curse of the horned rat? i thought that could only hit models on foot

Yes, since he isn't a model on foot, he is immune to th dreaded 13th
