Much better than the current model, IMO. Definitely a step up.

I've been running to GW all week buying the OG Krox because I don't like the new ones... but this guy.... I'll wait for the new one.

this is one of the best models i think GW has ever made and sold. the detail is amazing!

 

If the rest of the new models are on par with this one, February will be a ver y expensive month for me!

 

are they makin it in plastic or metal now??? Even if its metal i'll bye it. Its the best WH model i've seen

 

current price for a metal one is $55. so if the rumored price of $40 is true it'd have to be made from plastic.

 

I think it is amazing!! I will definitely be picking up one of those

 

now all we need is a special character that allows you to take stegs as core

That would be sweet. All would bow before the mighty army of Stegadons!

 

I actually do not like the model. I like its size and that it is plastic, but it looks too different from a Triceratops. I am not a fan of the skin flaps and overly horned head. It looks more like it has tusks than horns. On the bright side, the howdah looks amazing and I saw another Howdah version that looks like the engine of the Gods.

Once I get the model and paint it up, it will probably grow on me, but the pics I've seen aren't doing it for me.

THe Steg is certainly plastic as there are some sprue pics, also Barbed Razordons, the new saurus heroes and a glimpse of the TG sprue (oh and all three new Krox as well)
