Hey folks,
I played Lizardmen throughout 7th Edition, and just recently have gotten back into the hobby. I am slowly getting a grasp on some of the new rules but am definately in shambles when it comes to new doctrine for our army.
My old army of 2000 pts no longer works point wise or mechanic wise so I am on the look out for advise and thoughts on what I should build my typical "Tourney" army toward. I generally like to have enough models to make two different lists for a change of pace.
So far what I am thinking is this.
List A
Will focus on the awesome power of the Slann, likely with a large contingent of Temple Guard and the lore of life for the Slann. Likely a few Saurus blocks, stegadon, sallies and skinks to round it out. Still unsure how to employ Kroxigors in the newest edition but maybe slide those in as well.
List B
Nearly a null magic army, maybe a few skinks. This army I hope to focus on the power of the dinosaur, oldblood on a carnosaur, and 2-3 stegadons, some terradons, salamanders and likely a lot of skinks to round out the army.
