Alright, well, I wrote up one list already. It was a Slann list. I wanted to see what I could do with a Carnosaur. So, here it is.

    Lords

    Saurus Oldblood
    Light Armor
    Enchanted Shield
    Scimitar of the Sun Resplendant
    Glyph Necklace
    Carnosaur

    Heroes

    Skink Priest
    Level 2 Wizard
    Dispel Scroll

    Saurus Scar-Veteran
    Light Armor
    Shield
    Burning Blade of Chotec
    Cold One
    Battle Standard Bearer

    Core

    18 Saurus Warriors
    Standard Bearer
    18 Spears

    20 Saurus Warriors
    Standard Bearer
    20 Spears

    20 Saurus Warriors
    Standard Bearer
    20 Spears

    11 Skinks
    Musician
    Standard Bearer
    1 Kroxigor

    11 Skink Skirmishers

    11 Skink Skirmishers

    Special

    6 Cold One Cavalry
    Standard Bearer
    War Banner

    3 Terradon Riders

    Rare

    Salamander Hunting Pack
    1 Salamander
    3 Skink Handlers

    Salamander Hunting Pack
    1 Salamander
    3 Skink Handlers

That's 112 models @ 2248 points. By all means, take it apart, and tell me what works and what doesn't.

*Edit* Oh yeah, I guess I should point some things out. The Scar-Vet will go with the 18 Saurus unit, and the Skink Priest will go with one of the Skink Skirmisher units.

except my usual no champion in saurus policy i think you should get 1 more ranked skink. now your unit has 10+[4] models, with 1 more you would have 11+[4] => 5x3 => 3/4 static. 5 points for an extra rank is worth it :p

You are always very quick with responses, Bib.

Well, I was reading elsewhere about the saurus blocks, and I realized that they did not need champions. It was mentioned, however, that having a champion in a unit that will have a hero in it will allow the champion to accept challenges in his place, just in case I run into something that would really just mess him up.

I just don't know where to get the points for the extra skinks.

i actually can't see a saurus character losing a challenge... with a cold one under him any equipment will keep him alive really.
this comes from a skaven player tough where accepting challenges is banned for life and i usually don't challenge with my scar vet
a champion is extra protection indeed, but i'm not sure its needed

Alright, I'll drop the champ. That should net me a skink or 2.

BTW, do you think I should bother with the Scar-Vet's mirror shield or no? I could drop it for a Burning Blade of Chotek or maybe a Sword of Battle or something like that, and pick up another skink or 2.

*Edit* Alright, I re-wrote it with some changes. I added a skink to each of the skirmishing units, some skinks to the cohort, and changed the scar-vet's equipment. I just edited my original instead of reposting.
