New to forum (well not been here for years)

Hi guys,

i had a bried flirt with lizardmen a few years ago but i've decided to come back to them. I have a tournament in only 7 weeks and i currently dont own a painted army (i sold my last one). I am going to try to build and paint a 2500 point army as quickly as possible and of course il have to take shortcuts but im still hoping to get it to a nice gaming standard.

I will use this thread as a way of showing what ive done as i get the units finished and also to ask for feedback on both the painting and what else i need to add to my army etc.

My first big question is i am thinking of going with a scarvet on carnosaur in the list but was wondering wether a scarvet mounted on a FW dreadmaw would look cool or not? Im not sure if it would work but thought id throw it out there to you guys and get some opinions.

Anyway thanks for taking a look guys and i hope to get some pics of my progress up in the next day or two.

 

Welcome to the forum and to your commitment to the lizardmen (as opposed to your first initial fling ). Looking forward to seeing some of your work.

Oh and not sure what a FW dreadmaw is. Must be a 40k thing which I do not and have never played before.

For the dreadmaw, it might be a bit funny having a guy riding it, just with the whole burrowing thing. Doesn't seem like it would work physically, but if you like the model go for it. For anyone interested, the dreadmaw pic is below.

 

Yeah I wouldn't go with the dreadmaw idea unless you have a really
awesome (and practical) idea for where the scar-vet will sit on his
beloved tunneling monster.
