Hey guys, I've been a fan of Lizardmen since I was like 15 but just now have started collecting, I somehow managed to get all my friends to start buying up armies. I'm sure a lot of you are much more familiar with lizardmen tactics than I am currently. It's looking like we are all going to have 2000+ Point Armies before we start. I was planning on going Magic Heavy, as I already have 2 Slann and 2 Skink Priests. My opponents are going to be playing Warriors of Chaos, Dwarves, and Dark Elves. I was mainly wondering if there were any "MUST HAVE" Units to help me against any of them. Mainly against Warriors of Chaos as my friend playing them is a tactical madman. I am also super sad that they got rid of the Sacred Spawnings -.- Dumb. Thanks all. I'll check back in later.
Might check the army list section, there's is a general theme to most of the list, Slann in a big block of temple guard, couple units of saurus, skinks, salamanders and chameleons.
Thanks for the Post. Yeah I have a Slann, Saurus Spearmen, Saurus Hand Weapon Unit, Chameleon Skinks (6), and a Salamander with 3 Handlers at the moment. I was thinking atleast 2 Salamanders though. How do they compare to Razordons? Also Minor Rules question. I read an Errata for our Book, and I'm pretty sure it said to Ignore Giant Reach rule of Kroxigors in units of Skinks. http://www.games-workshop.com/MEDIA_CustomProductCatalog/m1260025a_FAQ_Lizardmen_2010.pdf Does this no longer work with Skinks or is there some other way to do it in the Core Rulebook? yea the second rank infantry get one attack now, mostereous infantry (Kroxigor) get 3 attacks. Ps. 8th edition has a lot of core rule changes.
