I am starting to build a Lizard army and am new to the forums. I don't know if my store has any comp against Lizardmen or not, so this list is no comp. The lore of my Slann is really up in the air.
Pretty good for a first time list. I'm not much into the blue font on a dark background though. Generally speaking, there are only 4 Disciplines worth taking for your Slann. Those would be Focus of Mystery, Focused Rumination, Becalming Cogitation, and Higher State of Consciousness. Soul of Stone is probably number 5 on the list. And since it looks like you are going with a lone Slann, I would definitely swap out Soul of Stone for Higher State. Either that or get the Plaque of Protection and juggle the rest of your items around a bit. Welcome to the forums!
What about switching the Slann to Life, dropping Soul of Stone and Crown of Command, and adding Ethereal and either Cupped Hands or Divine Plaque of Protection?
Sounds like a good plan. Crown of Command + Ethereal (or incorporeal as was recently pointed out) makes for a mean combo though. Some groups ban that specific build. The Divine Plaque is likely more useful for a solo Slann than the Cupped Hands. And you can also argue that since the Slann is taking Life, the Cupped Hands is a bit redundant. Just remember that even though Saurus are easily the 2nd or 3rd best core infantry in the game, they still need magical support against any elite troops. Since you have those two Scar-Vets, I would plan on using one as a dedicated flanker to help out the Saurus block once they get in combat.
