I am thinking Saurus old blood and saurus warriors. I am on a bit of a budget. Do you guys think I should get Scar vet? Is he still on the store becaus I only see him with battle standard. Loving the forum, this is my first post. Thanks.

If you can save up, the battalion box is a good place to start. ;)

I'm building it up, this month is a leader and a unit. Next month is another unit and then next month another unit etc.

ok, you just need a unit of Saurus then,
You can convert one to be a Scarvet or Oldblood,
the kit gives you a good amount of extra bling for hero's.

Is converting easy? I would rather just get a old blood normally.

Try ebay, get some skink skirmishers and a skink priest for magical support.Skink skirmishers are one of the best unit for a small game, hard to touch, fast and very maneuverable.

Yep, there is only one skink kit, it makes javelin or blowpipe skinks.
You can use the javelin skinks as cohorts or skirmishers.
The blowpipe skinks are only skirmishers.

Do you think i should go for a pack of skinks and a skink priest leading or stick with oldblood and saurus warriors first and get skinks after?

Either is good, it really depends on weather you want to avoid combat and shoot and magic your opponent,
or get into close combat and fight your opponent up close and personal.

Hey, who can lead skinks? Would a skink chief be good? or a Tehenhauin?

People dont usually put characters in skinks clouds because their purpose is to avoid combat and harass the enemy . they will die very easily when the enemy actually focus on them which is great because it means theres less things to damage your other stuff.

Tehenhuain is mandatory when you're building an all skink army.Skink chiefs are glass cannons so you need to make sure to kill the enemy before they get to hit you.
