New to WHFB

    Matt here. I'm new to Fantasy, but not new to mini wargaming or GW. I'm thinning out my 40K collection and wanted to get into something new. I picked Lizardmen based solely on the looks. I'm not coming to Fantasy to powergame, but because my son wants to start Fantasy so I looked into all the armies and Lizards appealed most to me. My favorite 40K army is my Tyranids so aesthetically you can probably see the link. So hello and I look forward to learning your wisdom.

    Hope you and your son have fun! We got good tactical wisdom on the Tactics forum. I'd advise you give the Tactica Index a look.

    The painting forum is a good place to ask questions too. Whether you are a Picasso or a novice painter, you should received positive comments and constructive criticism.

    Welcome to the Jungle. I am new to WHFB myself and I really like the look of the Lizardmen too. It is one of the reasons I picked them along with the background fluff.

    Welcome! From one newbie to another, I'll tell you, there is a wealth of information to be found around here. The Tactica Index is a great resource, as Scalenex mentioned, and I've also picked up a lot simply by browsing army lists. Hope you enjoy your stay! :)
