8th Ed. New WFB army list questions

    I just started playing Warhammer and decided to go with Lizardmen. I come from Warmachine/Hordes background (Cryx/Legion) fyi. I am hoping for some advice/criticism of my list, as that will determine wht I will buy next. At this point I do not have the main rulebook, just the LM army book.

    Slann (535 pts)
    * BSB
    * Focus of Mystery
    * Unfathomable Presence
    * The Focused Rumination
    * The Becalming Cogitation
    * Cupped Hands of the Old Ones
    * Sun Standard of Chotec

    Skink Priest (390 pts)
    * Level 2 wizard
    * EotG

    Saurus Scar-veteran (93 pts)
    * light armor
    * shield

    Saurus Warriors x24 (294 pts)
    * full command

    Saurus Warriors x24 (294 pts)
    * full command

    Skink Skirmishers x10 (70 pts)

    Temple Guard x20 (355 pts)
    * full command

    Chameleon Skinks x5 (60 pts)

    Chameleon Skinks x5 (60 pts)

    Salamander Hunting Pack x2 (160 pts)
    * Extra handler

    Total: 2311

    This list leaves me with some points left over for either more troops or magic items, or both. Any advice would be appreciated.

    get spears for saurus.
    get 2+ ward andMR for slann instead of ethereal

    drop all of teh above slann gear because you have TG and they protect the slann, so ethreal is a waste of points

    split slamanders in 2 units of 1 if you didn't allready do that

    Add an additional Salamander. I like to keep my sallies in one unit (but that makes it a bigger target), but splitting them up can be good too.

    if you keep them in 1 unit you will probably kill more but cuase less panic tests. thats where the strenght of the sallies lies. with 2 units you can force 2 panic checks if you don't roll horrible on teh arty dice, with 1 unit you need a bit of luck to cause more than 1 check since you can only shoot at 1 unit.
