Hey guys, long time no see lol I've been pretty busy with my grey knights lately, but I've finally gotten back to the Lizzies! I sat down yesterday and cranked out one of my Temple Guards to see how I felt about my new paint scheme on some more complex units, and I must say, I'm rather happy with the results. Any feedback or pointers would be much appreciated! :)

I like the style you went with Good scheme. Personally I would aim for a wash of devaln mud on the bones as they are supposed to be passed down from temple gaurd to temple gaurd so I imagine they would be pretty old and worn but(Just fluff but Im a fluff lover :)) Other than that I like it good job keep it up!

Maybe a wash of sepia on the teeth and claws on the feet? It's something I use quite often..

Haha I thought so, but it had to fit the theme of the blog titles ;)

A black or purple wash on the scales might work well. I think the model would definitely benefit from putting some highlights (either edges or drybrushing) on the shield. Good looking model, though! very cleanly painted.
