Sorry if this is a repost. Somebody help me out please... Once the Carnosaur becomes frenzy because he causes a wound (and therefore gains an extra attack) does the OB mounted on him become frenzy as well? Thanks in advance. Iggy
I believe the ruling is... Not any more, he used to in 7th. This got chamged in 8th. I believe it's mentioned in the Lizardman FAQ.
Hmmm.... Maybe it was in the general 8th edition FAQ then...? I believe it was under monsterous mounts (or calvery) not confering abilites to their riders and vice versa.
I'll have to check the BRB when I get home... didn't find anything in the FAQ either... but I just skimmed through it since I'm at work. Thanks for the help. Iggy
Can't find anything that says that the OB would become frenzied aswell as the carnosaur. It says in the army book "Once the carnosarus has inflicted an unsaved wound, it immediately becomes subject to frenzy" The OB seems to remain unefected.
Yep its not in the FAQ because it is now clearly stated in the rulebook under the frenzy section, doesn't transfer between mount and rider anymore. Actually makes the carnosaur pendant useful though.
How the frenzy rule interacts with mounts and riders is explained quite well in the cavalry section of the BRB (sorry no book on hand, to give the page, right now).
