I was wondering how everyone loads up their Old-Blood. I have two that I like: Old-blood mounted on Carnosaur with Scimitar of the Sun Resplendentm The Maiming Shield and Bane Head. That's 8 Attacks at S 5 from the Old-blood alone and then a further 4 from the Carnosaur. Old-Blood mounted on Carnosaur with Blade of Realities and Enchanted shield. This is the onl combination I could think of to incorporate the Blade of Realities. As much as I like the Blade of Realities though, the first option draws me more. I like the fact that I get 12 attacks in one turn and 4 of those could possibly multiply into D3 wounds.
And once the carnosaur frenzies, you get another attack for both the Oldblood and the Carno. So, 14 attacks total. I prefer the Blade of Realities combo more, just for the chance to tell someone that his 700 point lord, with regen, armour, and WS just died cause they rolled 11.
hornet sword, maiming shield and the 5+ ward if on carny as the BOR combo is to expnsive on a carny for my liking 1 magic item 3/4 of your magic item allowance i usually use the blade of realites on my on foot oldblood when i use him in a unit of 25 spears
