    Oldblood on Carnisaur
    Sword of Striking
    Shield of the mirrored pool
    Glyph Necklace
    LA & Shield
Will try and use him as a rank and file killer. 5 str 5 attacks that should be hitting on 2s.

    Skink Priest
    Engine of the gods
    diadem
    scroll
Figure this is a good way to protect my caddy. I'm going to play test to see if I like the diadem over 2 scrolls.

    Skink Chief
    LA & Shield
    Dagger of sotek
    Cloak of Feathers
Flying skink with killing blow. What's not to like?

    Scarvet BSB
    Sword of the Hornet
    Enchanted Shield
    LA
I know having only a 2+ armor save is not that great to protect a BSB, but he's relatively cheap and putting him in a saurus spear unit can help take out some models if they get charged.

    18 saurus with spears
    FC (bsb's unit)

    18 Saurus with spears
    Standard & musician

    14 skink skirmishers
    blow pipes
Brave(i had 6 points left over, so they went here)

    11 skinks
    musician
    kroxigor

    11 skinks
    musician
    kroxigor
These guys are cheap and fast flankers and they can rank up 5x3 to get 2 ranks.

    3 Terradons

    3 salamanders
I've been using army builder and it says salamanders are a rare choice. I thought the book said they were a special. I don't have the book on me but if they're special choice I'll run these guys in 3 units of 1. If they're a rare choice then either 1 unit of 3, or a unit of 2 and unit of 1.

I think the basic strategy is to use the saurus as my anvils and then flank with my skink/krox units or the carnie.

Do you play closed lists? The mirrored pool shield would be decent if the enemy didn't know you had it and then cast a magic missile at you. But if you play closed lists, it could be a fun surprise for an enemy wizard. Also you don't need to pay for a mundane shield if you take a magic one.

Instead of the cloak of feathers, why not stick him on a terradon? That'll add 1 to his armor save and free up magic item points so you can replace his shield with an enchanted shield for a 3+ armor save. Granted this option is a little more expensive, but you get a 3+ armor save instead of 5+ and another terradon to drop rocks. He can also join the terradon unit if need be.

Salamanders are indeed a rare choice.

We play closed lists. I always wanted last edition to use the flying skink with killing blow, but it was 55 points then. Now its only 50, so I want to try it out. I also don't have the model for the chief on a terradon. I don't know why I wrote the shield on the oldblood, I didn't count it toward my total.

I'll probably run the sallies as 1 unit of 2 and 1 unit of 1. They can aim at the same thing if need be, or I can spread out the panic checks.
