Hi everyone,
this is Felian, long time Lizardmen player and fan. Born and bred in Italy, now I live in London, UK.

I started playing WHF with the 5th edition and kept up to date and active for a few years, up to the 7th.
I never played the 8th and I abandoned the game with Age of Sigmar, probably like many others.

After getting badly glued to Total War Warhammer 2, I have been hit by strong nostalgia and got back into reading the Lizardmen armybook (and a bit of the other manuals too) and I realised how few units were available in our favourite army if compared the others.
Taken by creative inspiration and by the need to kill some time during this quarantine, I started inking down new units for the army, wishing that they existed at the time when I was playing.

Last but not least, I am also here, looking for other fans and to see if anybody else did any creation exercise before me, posting their works on this very forum.

You may have moved to England (since how many years, btw?), but i'm still planted here in Italy. ;)

Nice! Welcome to the forum!

I played several versions while growing up and ended up with 8th edition which is my favorite and have stuck with this.

You should share your invented units! Sounds interesting!

Either way, take a good look through the forums as it's a goldmine. Specifically for you, go through the Warhammer fantasy section for some good stuff and otherwise the Fluff thread.

I’m fascinated to hear about your unofficial units for 7th Edition Lizardmen - I started playing Fantasy in 7th Edition and still have my 7th Edition army books and rulebook alongside the 8th Edition ones, fondly remembering those days in which Warriors of Chaos weren’t as ridiculously overpowered as they are in 8th ;). I love writing unofficial army and unit rules for Warhammer Fantasy and Age of Sigmar, and would be most interested to see your unofficial creations - perhaps you could create a thread in the General Hobby Chat section (here) or the House Rules part of the Warhammer Fantasy section (here) to showcase the rules profiles?

I look forward to seeing them! :)

@Killer Angel I have been in Uk for 6 years now. Unfortunately, I am terrible at painting and, for this reason, I dropped the hobby after a few months after having started playing WHF.

@Lord Agragax of Lunaxoatl thank you. I am still working on these new units and I would like to make some amends to the existing 8th edition ones, in order to make everything more organic

Ha! You and me both! I am good/decent at a number of things, but painting is not one of them. I think possibly I get a bit frustrated given that even a small unit is going to take HOURS.

That and maybe the fact that I'm partially color blind and have no painting aptitude ;)
