So, Ive been mulling over Mazamundi and all his lovely toys for a while. Now I've finally gotten around to making some lists, But I Ran into a problem, two lists, each pretty fun, and I cant choose between them! So I'm trusting in the folks of the board to nit pick anything they can find, I know a lot of people dont like the names characters, well, tell me what you would replace in these lists! Here's list number 1: Lord Mazamundi - 620 Saurus Warriors x25 - 305 Full Command Saurus Warriors x25 - 305 Full Command Tetto'eko - 255 20 Skink Cohort - 100 Kroxigors x6 - 350 Salamander 80 + 1 handler Salamander 80 +1 handler Ancient Stegadon - 275 Chameleon Skinks x5 60 Chameleon skinks x6 72 Tetto'eko, a hero Ive never really cared for untill recently. I like the idea of teclis for a turn. Could be fun. He of course goes in the skinks so as to take on some of the special rules of the slann. I am hoping 20 will be enough. Here's list 2: Lord Mazamundi - 620 Saurus Warriors x25 - 305 Full Command Saurus Warriors x25 - 305 Full Command Temple Guard x20 - 355 Kroxigors x6 - 350 Salamander 80 + 1 handler Salamander 80 +1 handler Ancient Stegadon - 275 Chameleon Skinks x5 60 Chameleon skinks x6 72 The temple guard are my Mazamundi safety net. They will shadow him about and hopefully be in the same combats to help out and what not, If zlaaq goes down he has a nice new home! Well, get stuck in! I'm looking forward to any comments you can make! Thanks muchly.
I think I'd prefer the first 1, simply because i think you can get more out of Tetto on average then you can the 20 TG (one good comet can turn a game around). you might want to consider adding in a priest or 2 to get some more heavens magic out there. for instance, you could drop the ancient and add in a group of 20 jav skinks and a lvl 2 priest with a plaque. dropping the 2 extra skinks from the sallie would bump that plaque up to a dispel. if you were going to run heavens with mazda for the guarenteed double comet, id say keep the ancient. otherwise, nice list. lets see how it does on the table
