Fellow Powerfull Warriors and Tactical Geniuses, I've been trying to think out of the box by dropping my slann from the armylist! It wasn't easy to create a list that could be powerfull without losing my general because of a lucky stonethrower or cannon.. There's still a chance, but by putting in enough possible threats I tried to improve my chances! Hopefully you can give some helpfull feedback and feel free to improve this list! This list also includes Tetto'eko which i've never been using before! It is tricky and I have to practise! I hope somebody could advice me how to use this list to the max on the battlefield. I would like to start with my general.. I bring the allmighty Saurus Oldblood with his fellow carnosaur! Saurus Oldblood w/ Carnosaur (Loping Stride) - Light Armour - Charmed Shield - Piranha Blade - Talisman of Preservation He has a 1+/4++ Sv! First hit suffered on the oldblood is discounted on a 2+ and i have the multiwound D3 special rule! With a Carnosaur, which also have multiple Wound D3 special rule, this would be a great killing machine! The major problem I have is my initiative, as usual. Maybe with Tetto'eko I can make the enemy hit me more difficult by casting iceshard blizzard (one of my favorites). Also quite usefull to combine with the terror of my Carnosaur. Secondly I've chosen to take Tetto'eko as my mage. Tetto'eko The Loremastery of the Lore of Heavens will be to much and I won't be able to cast much spells because he is only a lv. 2 wizard, but for the essential spells he would be very usefull (make enemy re-roll 6's, re-roll 1's for me and -1 to hit). If necessary I can push and cast comets when possible! The D3 vanguard is also a great opportunity to bring my carnosaur very quit to combat, his loping stride will make this more easy! I hope that my carnosaur is the one who's charging, but if the enemy charges me after my vanguard i'll be happy to, because that's where you want that beast! My second hero is a Scar-Veteran on Cold One. Scar-Veteran w/ Cold One - Light Armour - Shield - Ironcurse Icon - Spear He is quite basic and moves up with the cold one unit (named later this post). He would be used to dualcharge with my General of Stegadon (also named later). Secondly he is a good threat for the enemy to make him/her confused and make the enemy doubt to make his choice. The core of my army is as following. 30 Saurus Warriors w/ HW/shield (6 wide, 5 deep) - Musician - Banner 3x10 Skirmishers w/ Javelins and Shields 14 Skink Cohorts The cohorts are to put in my Tetto'eko, don't want him to walk alone! The skirmishers are flanking and have to take out some other flanking units and just be annoying. The saurus warriors will walk through the center of the battlefield and take one of the primary units in combination with another unit! The special choices are as following. 7 Chameleon Skinks (warmachine hunters) 5 Cold One Riders 2x3 Ripperdactyl Riders Stegadon w/ Sharpened Horns The Chameleons are as usual.. Warmachines and monsters with low armour saves! The Cold Ones are the bunker for my Scar-Veteran and have to deal some serious damage if they will arrive without taking early casualities. The ripperdactyls are flanking units and have to charge the enemy in the rear if possible or at the same time as my Carnosaur. The Stegadon.. ye.. just take out monsters with the massive impacthits!!! or help the saurus warriors. The rare choice is maybe a bit obvious, but it is an ancient stegadon.. also with sharpened horns. He has the same objective as the other stegadon! But he has more strength and I like the blowpipes, especially when playing against enemies with low armoursaves they can hurt a lot! After all I think i've made a pretty solid armylist which could be work if i use it right! But as said before, please give feedback, i'n not really sure about the build and i think it could be improved! I don't see all the opportunities yet! Cheers!
