    What are your thoughts on this guy?

    Is he points effective?

    What is his main use?

    Thanks in advance

    very cool idea

    not even close

    collecting dust particles that would otherwise stick to other miniatures ;)

    I really like the char, but he is insanely overpriced. at half the cost i might have considered him in friendly games. too bad :(

    Best use I've found for him is giving a lone Shadow Slann an unexpected place to jump to behind enemy lines with the lore attribute. It's still not worth the cost, but it alarms people, which is it's own reward.

    He is a bit expensive for scout and sniper.

    IMO they should have just given the options for chiefs to become chameleon, have better poison, scout and sniper etc.
    A SC was not really needed.

    basically hes there for nostalgia, well that and they still had a bunch of the models left over
    from when they first released him in 5th edition. Back then the was the only Chameleon.

    They're like halfway there with him. His background is really cool, but what you'd need is;

    Preternatural Senses: Ignores all negative modifiers when rolling to hit with his blowpipe (if he can't even hit his target, what is the point?). I'd also make him ignore armour saves, he's supposed to be a master sniper.

    Master Poisons: 4+ to hit causes a wound. 5+ is still way too unreliable.

    Price reduction: 100 points. That way, there is a reason to take him over a Skink Chief (with full magic gear, a Chief costs slightly more).

    Unlocks Camo Skinks as Core: From there, I'd keep the same price on Camo Skinks, but give them 5+ poison. That makes it a meaningful choice for the player; regular blowpipes are cheaper and more easily spammed, but Camo Skinks wound more reliably and can Scout.
