I need some advice on how I should paint my kroxigors.
They're the older models (didn't realize that when I bought them on ebay. drat!)
What I plan on doing is giving them a base coat of flat black, then doing all of the scales in various shades of red, the brightest being the ridge of spikes down the back, and getting darker as you go farther from the spikes. I wanted only the belly to be left completely black, so for the arms and other non-scaly but not-belly parts I'm thinking of going over it with a very thin layer of dark red.
I'm still not entirely sold on my paint scheme. Any suggestions for what might make it better?

By 'older models' do you mean the 6th edition models or the 5th edition models?
Either way, that paint scheme should work out just fine. Maybe some color other than red would be nice though.
