They have a T-rex, Spinosaurus, and a Triceratops. Painted examples. http://scalemodelingdomain.blogspot.com/2015/01/pegasus-hobbies-t-rex-and-triceratops.html PS. they also have some decent 28mm terrain. http://www.pocketbond.co.uk/BrandCa...px?BrandID=29&CatID=17&ScaID=22&page=1&ipp=20 http://www.pocketbond.co.uk/SearchResult.aspx?ID=41053&page=1&ipp=25
Nice find. I never noticed that the Jurassic Park style Spinosaurus looks so much like a Trogladon. That is kind of disenchanting now that I look at it. I kind of forgot that this old version of Spinosaurus existed at all, and looked at Trogladon as unique until right now. D:
Lol, you should have known better about GW! Eventhough they are a company that would sue their own mothers over copyrights etc....they are not that original, and have at time just 1 on 1 copied historical creatures, units and uniforms.
Yeah. I knew I've seen the style before, bipedal with sail. I just didn't place it or realize it was literally modeled off the yin to the T-Rex's yang as far as pop culture was concerned. For the past few years Spinosaurus has looked like this in my mind. http://img08.deviantart.net/0891/i/..._size_comparison_by_harry_the_fox-d881wk9.jpg AKA Quadruped Spends 95% of its life in the water Tiny legs It's sail is actually part of it's back It just didn't click that they were that uncreative.
Yea, I was really hoping that they would be in scale with out stuff. I think the Triceratops might be close enough to fit on a 50x100mm base though.
Too bad the Spinosaurus is so pricey... http://pegasushobbies.net/catalog/p4855/Spinosaurus-Dinosaur/product_info.html At that price, might as well pick up a Troglodon.
The full price difference between the Spinosaurus and the Troglodon is only $20. 20% off the Spinosaurus helps, but such a deal can be found for the Troglodon as well. The Troglodon also comes with the Skink Oracle and Oldblood. Price-wise I don't personally see the incentive, but of course someone may want to convert something a little bit more unique and individualized than a standard Troglodon kit.
This Reminds me, I'm thinking of a Dilophosaurus for some things, not the JP style charming as it is, I'm talking the proper full sized ones http://animals.howstuffworks.com/30232-when-dinosaurs-roamed-america-the-dilophosaurus-video.htm
