just posting what the GWS workers told me... unless i see errata they are the end line for me to go by rules
 
Intuitively I would say it can't stand and shoot since it is a bolt thrower, but nowhere does it say it is a warmachine and it can in fact move and shoot which really just makes it like a really big longbow. I'd say hell yes stand and shoot.
 
i go for stand and shoot to.
GW workers are wrong soemtimes to.
soem years ago a asked a question and they told me this and that.
and so i did like they told me.
later a errata came and explained a whole other thing.

Its quite funny how illogical this game system is and also funny how we are trying to apply logic to this rule

e.g
archer unit on the ground cant shoot in two ranks but on a hill they can -
wait are they trying to say that the arrows come down LOL
