There is an army for sale at my local store. I already play 40k and warmachine but this seems like a super deal. I may be able to get this for $150 is it worth it to get into this other system? What does it bring to the table that the other two don't ? http://imgur.com/a/1dTxA
I've never played Warhmachine, so I can't speak to that. Warhammer Fantasy is great if you like really grand-scale battles. The game works particularly well with larger scale battles. There are a wide range of absolutely stunning models, but of course that is personal preference, so you must judge for yourself. In comparison with 40k, Fantasy is much more tactical; where movement and deployment play a far larger role. In my opinion 40k is much more forgiving in terms of movement. I enjoy fantasy because it is tactically more challenging. Be warned however, the current edition (8th) of Fantasy is coming to a close. 9th edition is rumoured to be released within the next couple of months, and it is believed (via rumour only, nothing confirmed) that very large changes may be on the way. The way the end times campaign/supplement ended seems to support some the general ideas proposed by the rumour mongers. Admittedly these are only rumours at this point, but I would suggest at least taking a look at them so you can make a fully informed decision. A collection of the rumours can be found here: http://www.warseer.com/forums/showthread.php?405610-Warhammer-9th-Edition-Roundup-RR-version That said, if you can get that army for only $150 (the picture you provided says $350?) it is an absolutely stunning deal. Heck, even if you decide you don't want to get into fantasy, you could buy it and turn around and sell to make a very tidy profit (especially if you sold the units separately). I hope that helps.
