looks cool. cant say much about the quality of the painting, since the pic is too small and blurry to boot, but the innovation seems nice indeed :)
 
Awww man, now you have gone and done it! That was something I was planning to do for a block of Saurus. I was going to have a small portal made for my army and have some Saurus marching out of it as a unit filler for my spear wielding Saurus!

Thanks for giving me a great idea on how it can look! Well done, me likes!

Very nice work. I like the way you painted up the old slann. It really looks great! The portal theme looks cool as well.
