hey guys, what is the best primer four our army, in your opinion? White or black?
in my opinion it's white, but some people say that it's very difficult to paint on a white primer instead of a black one

I always use either gray or white primer. It is easier for me to see the details on those than the black.

It sometimes depends on what you are painting

Black can be good for a model with lots of gold or fur. White or grey are probably better if you want brighter colors.

I think some of the army painter colored primers are really nice as well.

Personally I used Army Painter Green. I like it since the colour is great and lets me get models on the table with just painting of the trim weapons etc. They sell a matching paint colour so you can touch up any spill overs.

You can also use black primer, and spray it from above with white colour. You have more naturally look minis.
