    Preamble

My Mordheim warband is a Mousillon Bretonnian theme nut using Marienburg warband rules.

    Thursday

    Duel on the High Seas

Was able to get 2 matches in with the same scenario.

    GAME 1

First game was versus the witch hunters.

The Witch Hunters being a bunch of self righteous glory lovers were on the high seas looking for other ships to attack in the name of being good and blah, blah, blah. Lol.

The Mousillon Brets (Marienburg rules) we’re taking their ship out to sea, to get fresh air, get a tan, go swimming, catch some fish, and just a great family event. Then on the dastardly Witch Hunters charted an intercept course for the Brets.

Biggus d’Fatuus was alerted by LGT, who was in the crows nest, that the Witch Hunter ship, named Burn baby Burn, was going to ram them. Biggus barked orders to his crew and because of their training they raised the main sail and almost pooped on the poop deck but didn’t. Lol.

Biggus and his crew fired warning shots at the crazed witch hunters but the witch hunters began firing cannon volleys directly at the Mousillon Sea Fareers.

The Brets were forced to return fire to protect themselves.

Accurate cannon shots and consistent arrow hits caused damage to the witch hunter ship and crew. The rabid WH had to call off their attack and sail off into the sunset.

    No Mousillon Casualties

    Game 2

Biggus d’Fatuus and his men where just finishing their group prayer session when the LGT notified there was another ship on direct intercept course for their vessel.

Biggus spied through his spy glass and mumbled to his Black Knight (Malory) “I see something you don’t see often but is short and stocky”
Malory Mousillon, black knight, rolled her eyes, and said, “Ok that is a tough one…..um dwarfs?” Biggus said you are right and good news, the dwarfs are short and they are having a hard time seeing over the prowl of the ship so their reactions are slower.

Biggs once again barked out orders but the Dwarfs closed in and fired their cannons and x bows at the ever cool Mousillon crew. Their was minimal damage but d’Fatuus crew knew they needed to work as one to get home in one piece.

Shots were traded back and forth and men fell overboard into the open sea, fortunately it was not Shark Week and no sharks appeared to attack those bobbing in the water.

Biggus and is crew were able to sail off and win the battle and get home safely.

Two (2j Mousillon went OOA from the dwarfs stunted attack but they fully recovered. Biggus did get one of the dwarfs to leave his dwarfen Captain and join his crew. The dwarf reportedly told his new found Mousillon crew that his previous captain was short sighted, short leadership, and just short in general. ‍☠️
