The other day me and my Vampire count friend played a quick 1500 point match. he used skeletons ghouls and gravegards along with a lord and black coach. i used 3 blocks of saurus each with 12 and one of em had a "Can opener" scarvet a slann and temple guard, 21 skinks and a priest and 5 chameleon skinks this is what happened. my first turn everything moves up, my chameleon skinks are almost in range of black coach but not enough. on my magic i roll 15 on shems burning gaze trying to snipe the black coach who is in range. he tries to dispell but only manages 14 on dispell. the spell goes off with 12!!!!! hits the black coach dies, not much else happened. his turn he tries some spells but none works, except he snipes my 5 cham skinks with gaze of nagash. then the next turn everything just slowly moves up ( kill a single graveguard and same in his turn nothing importent happens but he raises his 1 graveguard that died, then my third turn my skink is in range of his lord and i cast shems burning gaze again... it dies.. HAHA he concedes as his army starts crumbeling. MASSIVE victory for the lizardmen!!!!!!!!
Super win, I'd love to see the guys face when he started crumbling. It was too bad you didn't really get your saurus in to melee.
Yeah, i was hoping to see Bionas timewarp and the w10 in10 spell in use i was a little afraid though, his graveguards were supposed to hit on +2 wound on 2+ and with killing blow ;O
The best part is that if the GG were to wound you on a 2+ that means great weapons which means no parry save and they are going last even if they charge. My buddy used to run similar GG in 7th Ed. but sold them all after 8th Ed popped. Good use of the lore of light. If I ever use a Slann that is the lore he has mastered. Initiative 10 saurus with an extra attack are cold blooded (.....ha) murderers. Good job on the win brother
