Replacement Ripper Stands

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post but seemed the most logical.

I just opened my ripper box, put the models together, and realized I was missing one of the clear ball head flight stands. CRAP!

Is there a place I can find replacements? I've checked eBay but only found the pack of standard GW flight stands.

I've heard of using metal sticks instead of flight stands but what kind? It'd be cool to magnetize these buggers in some form to allow them to be swiveled around in different angles that the ball style flight stand allows.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Firstly, if you got them from GW, give them a call about it. For all their faults, GW are traditionally very good at replacing damaged or missing parts.

Secondly, brass rod is often used to hold up flying models, as it is thin and strong and can be obtained from many model shops. However I don't know how you'd use it to make a variable flying position.

Thanks, Centurion! You weren't kidding about their customer service being reliable. Emailed them the dilemma and after just two emails (for a total time span of 20 minutes) they've got a replacement on the way.

I have seen brass rod used by drilling a new hole specifically for the rod. This allows you to choose where the mount point will be and how the model will sit atop it. Just image a unit of Rippers all doing a hard bank to the right or left instead of the typical pose.
