7th Ed. revised army list

    due to the newer crappyness of the faq, ive made lots of changes to my army. please leave criticism


    Slann mage priest with focused rumination/transcendent healing/and mastery of magic
    BSB and sun standard of chotec. dispel scroll

    skink priest (2nd lev) with EOTG Dispel scroll and plaque of topek


    skink priest(lev 1) with dispel scroll/diadem of power

    Skink chief on normal stegadon w stegadon war spear

    15 saurus, full command

    15 saurus musician standard bearer, spears

    16 temple guard (full command w warbanner)(is there another banner I should take? jaguar perhaps?)

    2 salamanders w 4 skinks each

    razordon with 4 skinks

    10 skink skirmishers with brave

    15 reg skinks

    12 reg skinks


    i plan to try and protect my EOTG with the skinks until he can get into closer combat so no character killers can carge my skink priest.

    Couple of observations here that I'll offer.

    1) Razordons aren't worth the points considering their effectiveness has been reduced.

    2) Get rid of the Brave in your Skink Skirmishers unit, they're not worth the points for the extra BS.

    3) If you're not putting Kroxigors in your normal skink units, I'd advise reducing them to 10 skinks a piece. They really won't be good for anything except redirecting charges and dealing with extremely weak troops.

    4) I would also remove a unit of cohorts and upgrade them to skirmishers. You'll get more mobility, the same charge redirection option and shooting from a unit that will be harder to shoot back at.
