so I got alot of input on my last list. I feel that this revision will be a bit more successful, and has a few more banners
All skrox units are 6 wide and are designed to recieve the charge with stand and shoot (not sure if krox can attack if I do that ill figure it out)
I do not have any saurus, my logic is their movement 4 would leave them hanging behind.

    HEADQUARTERS

    Saurus oldblood-
    Carnosaur mount
    sword of the hornet
    enchanted shield
    light armor
    bane head

    Skink priest-
engine of the gods ancient stegadon
    dispel scroll

    CORE

    Skinks-
    16 skinks with standard
    2 kroxigors

    Skinks-
    16 skinks with standard
    2 kroxigor

    Skinks-
    16 skinks with standard
    2 kroxigors

    Skink Skirmishers-
    10 skinks

    Skink Skirmishers-
    10 skinks

    SPECIAL

    Terradon riders-
    4 terradon riders

    RARE

    Ancient Stegadon-

    Ancient Stegadon-

Idea is mass inf can be dealt with using skink blowguns and the 4d6 blowgun shots from each steg. Characters meet the carnosaur with ASF character. Terradons kill cannons. The entire force is mvm 6 or better and hopefully wont suck. thoughts?

I played against WOC with a Skrox heavy army and we both massacred each other he was left with a unit of chaos warriors and a Exalted Hero and Sorcerer and I had a Unit of Skrox I probably lost though so I'm not a big fan of Skrox Just my opinion though :)

You may wind up needing a BSB, I'm thinking they are going to be invaluable in 8th. It might be a good time to break out cloak of feathers on a skink chief, so you can fly him around where he's needed. BSB is supposedly going to allow you to reroll all Ld tests, not just break tests. Once we get our hands on the actual book it will be much easier to deduce what sort of list is a good start, but what you have there looks like a fairly fast, fun to play list.

Hehe, didn't notice that. Makes me imagine the different unit leaders having a strategy meeting on the Carnosaur's back.

They're all skinks so they'd easily fit. :smug:

As to the list...Too many skorks for me, but the army comp still looks fun. If you can find the points I'd bump your skorks blocks up 17 w/ 2 krox. That way you have an even 25 block, or combine them into two blocks of 24 skinks and 3 krox and field 'em 6x6. This way you're usually going to out rank your opponent (unless your fighting O&G or Skaven) and test on stubborn leadership. Also you would have to lose 9 skinks at once before taking a panic test.

One issue I can see is you're going to have a tough time negating ranks since only infantry and cav with 2 ranks can do that. and Leadership is going to be an issue. A BSB would be nice, as Canegham suggested. So would musicians for when the skinks run (and there is a decent chance that they will) it'll be nice to have that +1 LD. Also the free reform (rumored) with musicians could come in useful.

Looks like a fun list. Lets us know how it works (when the rules come out).
