River Trolls as Kroxigors

Ok the title explains my idea, the idea is: Put TG heads on river trolls and you've got kroxigors, but recently my friend adviced against it, he said the TG will be to small, that it would be hard to convert and that it looks ugly, anybody tried this, I want to know for sure if it looks good, I want a good-looking army, I don't want to screw it up by bad conversions.

PS: I'm a total beginner so if it's a hard conversion plz tell me, then I'll do it when i got more experience.
I need to know before saturday, at saturday I'm going to my local store to buy the BRB, and it would be good to know if I should buy some river trolls too.

Tlax did exactly what you're planning, and I think it worked quite well. They look less agile but more like the lumbering mounds of stupid raw lizard power they are:

Personally, I would try using Cold One heads instead.

Hmmmm for me the body's are just a little large for the heads.. And the conversion isn't too hard since you just plop the heads on where the Troll's head should have been.. You might have to use some green stuff to fill in gaps and what-not but it won't be anything excruciating

@asrodrig: I only have 1 cold one head left, that's not enough.
@elmquasmash: Well if it I'll try and see if it's too hard, but it would be a pity if I spent the money and it didn't work out. Well just try and see I guess.

Don't sweat it dude If you have enough patience it will come out looking fine. Just remember not to use too much Green Stuff; it's a lot harder to take away than it is to add on And When sculpting just remember to use small amounts of water with whatever tools you are using (including your fingers!!) so that it doesn't stick to your skin or the tool which can cause it to follow the tool which throws the shape off.. Really just be creative and have patience Best way to go at it! And remember, you'll be surprised at what you can do!
