8th Ed. Ruby Ring of Ruin

Hi Everyone!!

I'm not very familiarized with bound spells (yet) so I have a question regarding the Ruby Ring of Fire, It says that it has the Fireball spell as a bound spell (power level 3). I know that to cast the bound spell I need to get a 3 or more with my power dice... but what happens if I want to boost the spell?

Do I use the casting value stated in the spell´s description?
Do I need to add 3 to that number?
Is it imposible to boost?

Please help me whith this one, lustrian fellows

specially in 1500-ish pts armies.

why not. especially if you only 1 lvl.

or why not give it to another character if you haven't spent it all on other items.

you will get one more spell to cast and thats nice if you get a lot of power dice. If you have a slann, then no in my opinion.
