8th Ed. salamander S and S

    Ok im going abit crazy at the moment Ive always played salamanders as NOT being able to stand and shoot.
    In a tournement the other day somthing charged my sally and my oponent said are you gonna stand and shoot to which i replied they cant. I got my book and FAQ to show him but i couldnt find anywhere where it says it cannot. The strange thing is I remember reading or seeing somewhere that they cant. We played it as i always play it and it didnt shoot

    I think its under template weapons....

    It is in the army book as well, you must have just missed it in the heat of the moment

    Page 56 underneath the table for spout flames

    "... They may not make a stand and shoot charge reaction...."
