Lets say you March a squad of Saurus Cavalry their requisite 14". But you also gave them a STANDARD BARRIER along with the MAGICAL BANNER Huanchis Blessed Totem which allows "an extra D6 move directly forward" during the Lizzy Magic Phase. Ok great... By doing so, lets say you end up 3" away from a group of juicy Dark Elf crossbowmen (who will pin-cushion our heroes the next turn if you don't do something quick). But lo' and behold! You have finished all your moves and its magical time...you announce with a hissing sound, that your invoking Huanchis Blessed Totem and roll a 4. How wonderful! You move your 4" and of course smack into the hapless Druchii blasting them to bits... Or do you? Is this a big piece of Wisconsin cheese? Or is it a legitimate use of the Totem? Does it improperly bend the Marching Rule on its ears or is it ok? It seems ok particularly since Marching is restricted to moving straight forward except for some wheels - and the Totem continues this logic in that it requires a straight forward move. Plus the Totem says it is done during the Magic Phase and doesnt seem to give a hoot about what might have occurred in the Movement Phase.... Am I right on this? Thanks again ! Boomer
If anyone tries to argue the point with you simply point to vanhels dance macabre or unseen lurker...both work in principle in a manner similar to the banner.
