Has anyone tried giving the old blood an arabyan carpet? What else do you give him? And while I am asking what about skink priest on one being used mainly for slann magic missile bouncing?
Interesting idea. I had a battle against Daemons where I was trying to direct my Old Blood with the Blade of Realities at his Blood Thirster but he kept flying around me. This would have been a good answer to that.
It's an interesting concept. However I fear that the heavy point cost of the carpet would negate protection for the OB and any killing power he might gain from magic items. Of course with everyone's pretelection towards Great Weapons this might be a moot point.
