Does anyone know how to get the saurus shield like it is in gw pictures so it covers the front of the model all mine seem to be able to do is go on the side.

Good question! I've looked at this as well before as the GW versions look like a wall. It seems to me that they are stuck on to the hand at near right-angles.

You can slice off a wedge of those round bits off of the Sprue to use as a shoulder.
glue this between the body and the shield arm, this will let yoU change the angle.

Or you can use a lighter to soften the plastic up. Then just carefully bend the forearm over without burning yourself.

If you can get your hands on them, I've also found that the Saurus Cavalry shields work really well, as they niely curve around the body. You may find that you just need to trim off some of the feathers or decoration that add momentum.

I've just decked out the front rank of my Saurus spear-horde with these shields and levelled spears, and it looks great! Very 300 esque.
