I wish I had a chance to take a picture.. But before I could, it was gone. Anyway, I headed up to a servo to grab some subway, and right outside the door in the disabled[/i] park, dead centre, is parked a pushbike! :D Highlight of the week for me, would have made a classic photo....

    Have a great weekend everyone!

Reminds me of a song I once heard...

"Sometimes I park in handicap places,
Then handicap people make handicap faces,"

I've seen similar things here in the US. Big department stores frequently have a large amount of DP at the front of the store. I don't mind walking and don't particularly want my car scratched so I tend to park in the back of parking lots. As I walk to the front of the store, I am not surprised to see a teen-ager driving a car with a few friends inside. They roll up, park in a DP spot, proceed to hang the DP placard in the car and head into the store, laughing and joking. I guess they've started handing them out for kids who don't have common sense as well here.

Yeah it must be for the mentally deficient as well... Generally over here people avoid the disabled parks if they aren't disabled, there are always a few people that bounce out of their car and practically run into the shops though.

    "I'm an arsehole!"

And we wonder why obesity is killing everyone in America... we don't want to do diddley sqat if we dont have to, that includes walking an extra 30 feet to the department store entrance. This is why we as americans suffer from many "chronic" diseases. I work in a resturaunt, we have handicap areas and you would not believe how many times i see corvettes parked in handicapped spots. Its almost like, "im too good to walk". Pathetic.
