8th Ed. Scaly Skin Help

Hi all,

I'm new to playing Lizardmen, and I just wanted to ask about Scaly Skin. As I understand it, it combines with armour/shields?

So for example, if I had an Old Blood with and Enchanted Shield would that make him have a 2+ armour save? And following that, if he was mounted on a Carnosaur would that make it a 1+ armour save due to being mounted (I also understand that this still means it's 2+ but for S4 attacks and higher the modifier starts from the 1+ save)?

you are right. scaly skin adds up with armor. when adding armor, you just start counting from the scaly skin save.
