Sorry for the mediocre pics but these were taken directly off my laptop screen so it may be slightly fuzzy or distorted.

He jumps up on the top of the frame, spitting and hissing his spells out, obviously!

Ahh thats a good point haha. Maybe before the battle he glues himself in place. :) Or is his left hand holding on for support? Bit hard to see.

Personally, when I heard descriptions of this thing (rung by the rat ogre) I imagined a rat ogre with a huge club-like thing bashing the bell to ring it. That seemed to be the type of bell they were using since if you hit it with a cannon (or anything above s4 I believe) it automatically rings. So for this reason I am a little put out by the actual model, but its still good.

Probably just Warpstone energy magic stuff...

Pff.. Have you ever seen rats climb around before? They're like monkeys!

Yea he smokes a fat sack of warpstone and snorts a big line of warpdust then he can climb like a spider and jump super high. Just look at that crazy rat he is a total nutter lol he needs to go to rehab.

Yea it takes up the ENTIRE chariot base, I dont even think the stegadon can claim that..Not to mention it looks to be a very tall model. Actually id go as far as to say its the biggest fantasy model kit as of yet, of course not including various forge world sculpts.

Hmmm all I can say is I cannot wait for someone skilled in OSL (object source lighting) to get a hold of that plague catapult thing. It looks like a model that could look either amazing or really bad depending on how well you painted it.

Yea it looks like a big project. However im looking forward to undercoating a army black again lol. Im toying with the idea of doing a full on pestilens/moulder army with the skrolk guy as my general so I can use monks as core. Any ideas on converting/painting the new clanrats to be monks? (im not a big fan of the current plastic monks).

Something tells me that it will be as bad to put together as the scraplauncher *shudders* so.....many......fidly.....parts

Or the corpse cart, where if you do it in slightly the wrong order then it won't go together at all. It has to be easier than the scrap launcher though, it is plastic.

And remember how much of a dream the steg was? GW are getting pretty damn good with multi-part plastic kits.

The new bell is awesome, but not as awesome as our plastic Stegadon.
