Hey guys, I've been thinking about for a while how the seraphon would have the spawning pools would have returned in AoS as part of their Old World lore that gipped me was how important they were because once they were lost/corrupted, they couldn't be replaced. So, the idea that I had for my fleshy fleshy seraphon and not dream dust guys was that the Slann of the tribe landed the temple-ship in Ghyran which began to terraform an area into the lush jungles. The Slann, who was dying instructed for the construction of underground caves that would act as the new spawning pools. (Stealing the next bit from Prometheus) the Slann then breaks himself down and his bio-makeup mixed a bit with the life magics of the realm act as a catalyst to kick start the spawning pools anew. Though I don't know how well this fits fluff wise, but I'd be egger to see what people think about this idea.
Interesting but spawning pills are still a thing in AoS. We keep them on the Starships and they've even make an appearance in our one short story
Think I read that story. What I hated about AoS was that it seemed they were just given spawning pools, taking out the sense of vitalness that they held in Fantasy. The idea here is that they're not getting their slann back so if they are destroyed, they're not coming back.
No they weren't just given to them. They were always in the base of the temple cities in those are the temple trip you just took the whole thing with them. The Slann can't make new spawning pits more can dracothion. that knowledge was lost when the old ones were ripped from us
