    Greetings

    I'm building up my new Lizzie army and am still trying to tweak my first 1000 points.
    So far I've always thought I would take a Scar vet. Then I considered a shammy (lev 2 of course). But I find that if I take both, it's quite the point sink.

    So which would you choose and why if you could only take one?

    Skink priest every time. Lvl 2 flying cloak and rod of storm. Helps with magic defense and who doesn't want to blast urannons thunderbolts across the feld up to twice a turn. Another advantage as he is pretty much unchargeable.

    @Wolfmage:

    Am I mistaken or does the Rod of storm only fire once per Battle?

    Thanks,

    It does, but that's what's great about it, you just throw six dice on it and don't care if it miscasts – it's one use anyway ;)

    A skink priest is handy as battles at 1k points tend to only last 2-3 turns sometimes 4 so you can definitely do as stated above but if you are facing magically 'immune' armies such as daemons or dwarves then the priest lacks enough punch to get through effectively enough to earn back his points. I usually just take the Scar Vet as I am pro h2h anyways, but the Skink Priest may, in most occasions, be the better choice ;)
