8th Ed. Shooty Lizardmen!?

    So this weekend I went to a tournament with my Primary army, Tomb Kings. In the second round I played a Lizardmen Army that was primarily focused on shooting! He had three groups of 10 Skirmishers, two Salamander units of two, Terradons, 8 Chameleons and a Light Mage-Priest that rained flaming balls of light magic down on my Sphinxen like crazy!

    I just recently obtained a bunch of Lizardmen and am starting to work on getting them ready to play, and had never considered a list like this! I dont know if it was because TKs are just slow or if its the nature of the Skinks march 12" but he just ran circles around me and wrecked me! In one turn and four salamander shots, he reduced a unit of Tomb Guard from 35 models to 6!!!!!!!! I LOVED the game, dispite getting beat down, but has anyone else formulated a list like this? Is it viable or just a fluke because Tomb Kings are slow!?

    Skinks based armies do ok but usualy suffer against high armor armies liike Wariors of Chaos and Brets.
    Salamander are fairly random, sometimes they are amazing, other times they eat all of their handlers and run away.
