8th Ed. Skavenpelt Banner + Saurus Warriors?

If i join to saurus horde with my Skink Chief BSB with skavenpelt banner does that unit get frenzy ? My friend thinks that it doesnt get frenzy cos skaven pelt banner says ``skinks only´´, but I think that it means that you can only take SPB to Skink Chief.40 saurus horde w spear and frenzy could be cool

Yes, the unit gets Frenzy. The skink only rule applies to carrying the banner.

The skink also has to stick out the side of the unit due to incompatible base size, despite being on a smaller base.
