8th Ed. Skink Chief on a Terradon

Hey guys!

So one of these days I'm just going to start a thread to post all of my questions in..

Skink chief on a terradon:

1) Does he really still only have 2 wounds? Regular terradon riders have 2 wounds.. shouldn't the terradon add 1 wound to his characteristic? Or was this an oversight?

2) If he is not in a unit, as a single model and a skirmisher, is it -2 for all shooting against him? or just the -1 for being a single model?

Well..
1) the terradon doesn`t give him the extra wound.

Sorry your skink chief has 2 wounds, you alway`s hit the rider so when he dies the model dies.

2)Last edition a lone model got the -1 to shoot at, not in the 8th
only flying units consisting of more than 1 model have the skirmish special rule(brb p70)

Sorry your skink chief has no -2 or -1, he will be hit as normal

So basically he still sucks.

To make him bsb.. or as a suicide challenge/warmachine hunter.. Hmm.

 

He's best used as a homing missile.

 

I generally think that he (or at least his points) is best used as a normal terradon unit or as a scarvet...

 

I tend to go for the 10 skinkmishers instead actually
