Terradons are special choices. Ancient Stegadon and Razordons are rare choices. Salamanders are just awesome compared to Razordons. I mean, -3 to armor save flaming attack? Great in my my opinion. Skink skirmishers can fill the role of a Razordon PLUS they can flee from chargers if they want, not to mention they are cheaper and don't eat their friends.
Since Krox are an upgrade to a Skink unit, yes they do count toward Core. It is just like a unit champion or standard bearer counting toward Core.
Music to my ears! I'm going to try a Skrox unit one of these days. Still not sure how yet, but I'll play around with them.
I love playing skrox units. They cause fear, they have movement of 6, they are immune to stomp, they ar immune to the dreaded 13th spell (Skaven), and they are just plain fun!
Really? I didn't know that. >_> Is is because the unit contains Monstrous Infantry or something? I've been playing that the Skinks are stompable since the Kroxigor can't be attacked.
It's in the FAQ. They are considdered a mixed unit. That is why they cannot be stomped. Also, regular killing blow does not work (IIRC).
Dang. I'm thinking I am going to start running a lot of Skrox units with 3 Krox. I'm starting a new thread with some more questions...
Hello, Well, the opponent can just kill skinks and Make his CD so hight that even the Kroxigors won't be able to catch up...
That is a problem. You can buff the skinks (life, light) in order to make them harder to hit. You could also take enough skinks to mitigate the problem. It is also really satisfying to see the look on your opponents face as you put down 65 skinks and 4 Kroxigors.
Hello, We've gone a little offtopic, but, seeing the new ETC rules, skink&Krox Kohorts will be a popular sight in europe As for the topic, i was shocked to see that the judges in my country count the stegadon as a separate unit than the skink crew, so when the Pito hits it, the chief/priest tests it on his own, the steg on his own and the skinks on thier own
